History:
Ballybur Castle was built by Richard Comerford about 1588. Despite the violent times, it seems to have maintained a fairly peaceful existance. It was one of the seats of the powerful Comerford family, the only one remaining.

At Ballybur Castle we specialize in small intimate weddings or dinner parties for up to 20-25 guests maximum.
We do not have a wedding package at Ballybur Castle - you can create your very own wedding in this most atmospheric and romantic surrounding.
The full exclusive use of the Castle and the grounds as a wedding venue for three days is 3000.
